2025
In March of 2025, I traveled to Central America for the first time.
Nice to Meet You documents one week in the Puntarenas province of Costa Rica through images of walks, beaches, flora and landscapes. Evidence of both human and animal life in this beautiful, tropical place also appear.
Although the heat was relentless, our accommodation was built around a small swimming pool, which became a landscape of its own every night after sunset. The central pages of Nice to Meet You reproduce stills from digital video shot in the water, riso-printed on colored paper.
Nice to Meet You is the English translation of Encantada -- the name of our hotel.
